Design brief
Deep green cabinet fronts carry through the kitchen, from the full-height storage to the drawers below the range. A pale island breaks up the darker surfaces and leaves the cooking wall visible from the entry. At the range, an arched recess frames a herringbone tile backsplash, which catches the light differently across each row. The cabinets on either side keep the edges of the recess simple. In the wider view, the island and its pendants share a centerline, with taller cabinetry held to the sides.
The island has a fluted face that stands out against the flat cabinet doors. The range recess is centered across from the island, while glazed display storage sits off to one side.
