Design brief
French doors and tall windows run along the dining side of the Cedar Chase kitchen. The table sits close to that light, while the island establishes a separate center for the kitchen. Pale cabinet fronts and worktops keep the room bright in the photographs, with the wood floor providing a warmer tone under both areas. Seen from the opposite angle, the island and surrounding counters describe the kitchen work zone more clearly. The pair of views makes it possible to read both the room as a whole and the spacing around the island.
