Design brief
A blue range sits between wood cabinet fronts and below a pale hood. Its color is concentrated at the cooking area, which leaves the tall cabinet wall free to read as a continuous wood surface. Glazed doors and small display compartments open up sections of that wall. The island brings a broad, pale surface into the center of the room, separating the two runs without blocking the view between them. The closer cabinetry photograph shows the scale of the rails, panels and glazed openings within the overall composition.
